Walking for the Animals

September 12th was annual Paws Walk.

This was my sixth Paw’s Walk. Max and I walked with a team of dogs called Team Terrier. Katie Morrell, our team leader pulls this team together every year…. and can you believe she provides each dog with a T-shirt with our logo on it? Katie is a Lead Trainer at Cascade Kennels in Woodinville. Both my dogs, Yumi and Max received training from Katie.

Dogs and humans were both tired and hot after the walk but what a good feeling it was to cross the finish line, knowing that we were all doing our part so PAWS can continue their good work in rescuing, rehabilitating and advocating for all animals, big and small.
